How to Install Android on Your PC

Download:

• 1.Oracle VM VirtualBox - Download the latest version of here
• 2.Android x86 4.2 Image - Download the Android 4.2 image from here

Instructions: 

• 1.Install VirtualBox on your PC
• 2.Open VirtualBox and select New. In the dialog box enter the name as your wish and select
  i)Type : Linux
  ii)Version : Other Linux
  and select Next

• 3.In the next dialog box enter the memory size as your wish

Note : Minimum 512Mb required for JellyBean
and select Next

• 4.In the next dialog box select create a virtual hard drive now. Then select VDI and select fixed or dynamically allocated as your wish and create the virtual drive

Note : Mininimum 1 GB required for installation

• 5.Select Virtual device and select settings, a dialog box appears. In the dialog box select
  i)Storage->Storage Tree->Empty
  ii)In the attributes section select the Android 4.2 iso file you downloaded and check Live Cd/Dvd, then click Ok

• 6.Then start the virtual device. In the screen select Install Android-x86 to hard disk.

• 7.In the next screen select Create/Modify Partition.

• 8.Then create a new primary bootable partition and select write. After finishing writing select quit.

• 9.Then install android in sda1 and select type as ext3 , choose yes for installing grub.
• 10.After installing remove live iso from VirtualBox and reboot. Now you can boot into Android 4.2.2.

You are done.

How to Speedup Pendrive File Transfer

• Connect pen drive to your computer. 
• Open your Computer (My Computer) 
• Take ‘Properties’ of your pen drive.(Right click -> Properties)
• Go to ‘Hardware’ tab.
• Select your pen drive as disk drive. 
• Then click on ‘Properties’ button. 
•  

• From given properties window, click on ‘Change settings’ (on bottom)

• How to ‘Policies’ tab 
• Select ‘Better performance’ instead of Quick removal.
  [Enables write caching in Windows. But you must use the Safely Remove Hardware notification icon to disconnect the device safely.] 

 

1) Go to the Pendrive and Right Click then Format...

2) Change the filesystem to NTFS as it supports larger data transfer

3) Uncheck Quick Format then press Start

How it Works?

An attached webcam to your computer will analyze all gestures that you perform with your hand facing the PC, then translate those movements into binary (or comprehensible programming language) to the software used, the software in its turn executes the command according to the gesture performed.

Things you'll Need

• A Computer with Windows or Mac installed.
• Webcam 
• One of the software below installed

1. Flutter App

Flutter app will allow you to make actions to your PC from Webcam with your hand when you are away from your computer. Flutter can only Play, Pause or Stop a Music or Video playing in one of the following programs: iTunes, Winamp, Spotify, Windows Media Player.

How to Use Flutter App

1) Go to Flutter App Website

2) Click Download button to start downloading Flutter.

3) Open up one of the supported and listed above programs, Put a Music or Video on to start playing.

4) Launch Flutter and raise your hand in front of your Webcamera, it will analyze it and your player will Pause/Play again.

2. NPointer

NPointer is a yet another alternative to Flutter app but more powerful. With NPointer you can control not only music and videos but also you can Control the Mouse pointer with your webcam, you can also perform gestures with your Hand, your head or any other part of your body. NPointer detects any moving thing and record its localisation then send it to the mouse pointer, you are also able to change the motion speed, acceleration, timeout of the mouse.

How to use NPointer

1) Download NPointer from its official website.

2) The file is a .zip file, Extract it then launch NPointer.exe

3) Select the Webcam device from the drop down menu.

4) Done! Now you can control the mouse with your web camera.

How To Make A WiFi Hotspot Without Software

When talking about sharing internet connection with friends or neighbors it comes to sharing it wirelessly using your modem's WiFi, but when your modem/router doesn't come with a built in wifi adapter and your computer is equipped with one it becomes hard to share Internet connection without cables. Here I'm sharing with you a quick way to setup a WiFi Hotspot and share the internet connection you got in a very easy way, it also works for Windows XP , Windows 7 and Windows 8.

1. Windows XP

1. Open up Control Panel from the start menu and head to Network Connections

2. Double Click the Wireless adapter from the networks list, then go to Wireless Networks tab then click Add

3. Enter the SSID (name) of the network, this will appear when scanning for it, and set the security Key you want then check the last checkbox (Ad-hoc) finally click OK

4. Finally go back to network adapters, double click the Internet connection adapter (Local network) then go to Advanced tab, check the box that says "Allow other network users to connect through this computer's internet connection" and select the Wireless adapter from the list then hit OK

2. Windows Vista and 7

1. Enter the Control Panel from the Start menu, then head to Network and Sharing Center 

2. Click Setup a new connection or network link

3. Scroll down and click Setup a Wireless ad-hoc

4. Enter the details of your WiFi hotspot : Appearing Name (SSID), Security Type and Password (Key) then click Next

5. Finally activate the internet sharing by click the button "Turn On Internet connection sharing"

Note: If you can't find the option 'Turn On internet connection sharing' then go to the Local Network Adapter > Right Click > Properties > Sharing > Check the box 'Allow other network users to connect through this computer's internet connection'

3. Windows 8

To create a WiFi Hotspot in Windows 8 you need to perform some cmd commands in order to activate the hotspot and turn your computer into modem internet sharer. Here are the commands used in step by step:

1. Search for CMD then click Run as Administrator to run the command prompt with administrator privileges 

2. Run the following commands one by one:

netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=razor-tuts key=password

Note: Change razor-tuts to the SSID (name) of your wifi and password to the key you want to use.

netsh wlan start hostednetwork

netsh wlan show hostednetwork

3. The last command with "show" parameter will show you if the network was created successfully or not, here's an example of what it outputs:

4. Done! You just created a WiFi hotspot, now search for it using your iPhone, iPad, Android device or another Computer equipped with a Wireless adapter.
